Sang Chöd & Cooking Lesson for Momos & Hot Sauce and Chow Mein
with Lama Kalsang Nyima
May 11, 2024
We will begin the morning together with Lama Kalsang leading the ritual of Sang Chö, a smoke offering to the local spirits and enlightened beings to retrieve and reinforce these qualities in themselves and give power to their own sacred relationship with the natural world for the cultivation of harmony and world peace.
After the ritual, we will gather in the main kitchen in Kunzang Khang, where Lama Kalsang will teach us how to make Vegetarian Momos (traditional Tibetan dumplings) and hot sauce, as well as Chow Mein. Join us for a fun filled day of cooking and eating!
