Schedule
9:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. Trul Khor Practice
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Introduction to Moving Meditation: The Nine Breaths of Purification & The Five Tsa Lung Exercises
12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m. Coffee/Tea Break
1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m. Practicing with the Five Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space
9:00 AM -10:00 AM: Trul Khor is Tibetan Yoga. Rob will guide the 16 movements traditionally taught at Serenity Ridge and Ligmincha retreats globally. He will be guiding and not teaching the practice. Everyone who is familiar with the practice is welcome to attend.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Moving Meditation. Instruction in the nine breaths of purification, the life-force tsa lung movement, and sitting in a state of deep presence and rest will be provided. The nine breaths is a truly simple but incredibly powerful tool for clearing obstacles related to anger, attachment and ignorance. The Life Force tsa lung movement restores strength and balance to our life-force energy (lung, prana, or chi). We will use these tools to create a softening and opening in our hearts and minds and then deeply rest in a guided meditation.
1:00 PM to 2:30 PM: The five elements are the foundation of existence. When we connect to the elements, their qualities and powers, we enter a state of better health, greater calm, and a deeper awareness our interconnectedness to all things and beings. This session will be part discussion and part practice.
